The main feature of the video is the comparison shots between present HTC One and HTC M8 along with peeks into the microSD card slot, onscreen buttons and rear camera’s of the M8. Apart from that viewers will also get a good look at the refreshed camera user interface of the new handset.

HTC M8 appearing on the video looks identical to the device appearing in every recent image leaks. The device can be considered as a nice evolution of present HTC One with microSD card slot and rounded corners.

Those who are interested in the new device need to wait a little bit longer as the revelation is expected to occur within a few weeks.

Verizon and Sprint’s versions will be available between the 24th and 28th of November and between 1st and 7th December through the company’s official website under a 2-year commitment for $49.99.

But those who are not looking forward to buy a new Smartphone ahead of the festive season need not to be disappointed. HTC is using a big billboard right in the middle of Times Square to display photographs shared through Twitter or its official website using #HTCinNYC and #US hashtags.

The company is running a contest with five HTC One devices being up for grabs, with one unit to be awarded each week before 29th December.

The news came up at the inaugural of a new Verizon concept store at Mall of America, where an interactive touch-screen displayed an image of Verizon One max with price details.

Such blunders rarely escape unpunished, especially at public events. One of the attendants of the event managed to click an image of it and shared with others anywhere outside the venue.

According to reports thus generated, Verizon will tag HTC One Max with $299.99 on 2-year contract while Verizon Edge will provide the same @ $24.99 per month over the period of 24 months with $0 down payment.

The price may seem slightly more than the average price of most launching smart phones but service providers have traditionally charged little greater than usual for larger devices. Other devices that are priced in that range are Sprint HTC One Max, which costs $249.99, and Verizon Galaxy Note III, which costs $299.99.

It is notable that both Verizon and Sprint announced to release HTC One Max when it was launched. However, Verizon was yet to announce anything while Sprint customers had the privilege to get their hand on the device. Interestingly, the latest rumour is that Verizon HTC One could be available as soon as this Thursday.

Pre-booking Starts for HTC One Mini

HTC One Mini

The wait for the HTC One Mini may finally be over but the phone is excessively expensive. The phone is currently up for pre-orders by Negri Electronics in the US and is priced at a whopping $522.

The US-based retailer has listed 3 versions of the phone – 601E, 601N and 601S, with all of them coming in black and silver color options. 601E is the cheapest one that comes in with HSPA+ connectivity only. The other two are LTE-enabled but certainly do not fall under the “Sensible Choice” category. 601N is listed with a price-tag of $598.50 and the 601S is up for grabs at $617.50.

HTC One Mini

And if one is thinking about the prices to be very high, then let’s just say that its older sibling HTC One comes around the same price. For instance, AT&T sells HTC One, through Amazon, for $80 with 2-year contracts and $599.99 outright.

It is likely that Negri Electronics is trying to capitalise its status as being the first one to start the pre-orders, but chances are high for other retailers to price the HTC One Mini differently. Moreover, one just needs to see how low sellers such as Amazon and Best Buy will go in order to attract customers.

HTC to Launch 6-inch Phablet Ahead of IFA

HTC 6-inch Phablet

Come next month and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be facing some serious competition from HTC. Rumor is that HTC is planning to unveil its One Max phablet at the IFA tradeshow in Germany.

Leaked pictures suggest that the smartphone will be coming with a 6-inch display and is styled in the same veins as that of the members of the HTC One family.

HTC 6-inch Phablet

For the past few months, these two mobile giants have been going neck-to-neck with their recent devices. Galaxy S4 has been facing some stiff competition from HTC One, whereas the One Mini was touted to be “against” Galaxy S4 Mini.

Interestingly, though HTC One features a smaller screen than the S4, HTC Max’s 6-inch screen will be at an advantage against the 5.75-inch display of Note 3.

Apart from a big screen, this latest smartphone from HTC will be packing-in a Full HD 1080 pixel display, quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, front facing dual BoomSound speakers, Ultrapixel low-light camera and a 3200mAh battery.

The rumor mill is still not sure whether the device will be coming with a stylus. HTC offered the stylus with its 10-inch Jetstream tablet and the 7-inch Flyer. Now, if the stylus idea is not resurrected by HTC then it would be leaving the Note 3 unchallenged in this particular area.

Mobile major HTC recently launched the Butterfly S, featuring the most powerful battery it has ever equipped any of its device yet.

The phone is the Droid DNA’s upgrade and will be coming with the same photo-shooting, video-capture, news features as that of the HTC One.It may be noted that HTC One was released in the United States a few months back. But it certainly towers over its closest rival, the HTC One (4.7-inch) and the iPhone (4.8-inch). The Snapdragon 600 1.9 GHz processor is also faster than the One.

The phone comes with a RAM of 2GB, built-in storage space of 16GB, expandable microSD slot and a 4mpxl UltraPixel camera. On Wednesday, the new version will be launched officially in Taiwan, but won’t be featuring LTE network’s support. The company is yet to announce a U.S. release date.

If the battery plays an important role in someone’s life, the Verizon customers should think twice before laying their hands on the HTC One and wait to see if the new Butterfly S makes a late summer entry as the Droid DNA’s successor. Company officials claim that the phone’s battery will deliver music continuously for over 3 days. The pricing details are not yet available.
