The rumors are making rounds that Motorola may be working on its new Smartphone code named as X Phone. The rumor is originated from DroidForums where a post details confirmed features of the device.
According to dgstorm, the device with the latest version of Android OS – Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie will be unveiled at Google I/O in May 2013.
The latest rumors say that the Smartphone would feature a 5-inch edge-to-edge 1080p display. It may have an eight core processor without a bezel in a compact design and it will not be a Nexus handset.
An unconfirmed report says that Motorola is working on a new phone with few software additions to improve its OS functionality. Even though Motorola has cut down on UI customization in current devices it probably may not deliver a pure Android experience like Nexus devices.
If Google is planning to launch a device that is non-Nexus and comes with Android’s latest version, than it can be presumed that new Nexus-branded phones are too expected to hit the market very soon.
As of now there is no word about the price of the device.
