A couple of Samsung Tab S2 8.0 photos are making the rounds online. The images have been leaked from the Taiwan Telecommunications certification authority’s website.The images are in line with previous leaks from TENAA. The tablet is supposed to be the successor to the premium Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4. The model number of the device is SM-T715.The slate had also gone to the FCC for certifications which confirms the model number.
The specs of the Tab S2 include a 1.9 GHz octa-core processor; most likely an Exynos 7420 chipset coupled with 3GB RAM and 16GB expandable memory. The display is an 8” AMOLED unit with a resolution of 2048 x 1536. The photography capabilities of the predecessor were excellent and the camera resolution does not get a bump. The rear camera is 8MP and the front facing camera is a 2MP unit.
The device has already cleared all FCC certifications and is expected to be announced later this month in two variants, an 8.4” mid-sizedmodel and a 9.7” full sized model. The tablets will be available with optional LTE and multiple storage size options will be provided by Samsung.
Samsung has unveiled its Galaxy S5 smartphone finally at Mobile World Congress during an event termed “Unpacked 5”. The latest flagship smartphone of Samsung builds upon last Galaxy S4 with a new design, improved camera facilities, fitness tracking capabilities, a fingerprint scanner and more. The device promises to offer a refined experience to consumers as it is designed for the things that matters most to consumers.
The simple plastic look can nowhere to be seen in Galaxy S5 as its back features a new perforated design and comes in the colour variants of shimmery white, charcoal black, copper gold and electric blue. A new device protection is also offered here including water and dust resistant coating. Not only that, the home button features an in- built fingerprint scanner for additional data security. There is a slight increase in the screen size as it comes with a 5.1- inch Full HD 1080p AMOLED display.
The device packs in a 16- megapixel rear camera (up from the 13- megapixel sensor offered by S4) and boasts the “fastest autofocus in the world” of 0.3 seconds. Also, it is equipped with additional depth of field effects and faster HDR performance.
It’s official with the announcement of the entire range of Samsung Galaxy Tablets at the CES, that the much anticipated 12.2-inch tablet would be available in the U.S. markets.
The tablets are proposed to be made available by the 13th of this month. However, for those who are worried about the long queue of customers who would be booking the tablet prior to the Valentine’s Day may not be worried at all. Samsung has started taking pre-orders through a list of several online retailers. These include Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, and a few others.
Moreover, there is no such announcement of any carrier agreements. Another thing which seems to be clear is the fact that these models might only come with Wi-Fi compatibility.
The pricing like always is dependent on the model a buyer choses, where the low end tablet sporting the 8.4 inch Tab Pro (16 GB) is available for $400.
For the other models boasting the 10.1 inch (16GB) and 12.2 inch (32 GB) is available for $500 and $650 respectively. The fourth release of the Note Pro has been priced at $750 and $860 for the 32GB and 64GB models respectively.
Samsung also clubs the devices with a 50GB Dropbox subscription which can be used for a period of two years.
Recently revealed filing of Federal Communications Commission (FCC) indicates that Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is likely to support Verizon LTE (Long-Term Evolution) connection.
According to the document, model SM-P905V of Note Pro 12.2 will support band 4 and band 13 of the Big Red American carrier.
Samsung has kept its latest instalment in the Galaxy Note series quite less publicised as yet. All that has been known thus far about Note Pro 12.2 is that it has 12.2-inch screen with pixel-density of 247 pixels per inch that offers display-resolution of 2560 x 1600.
The size of the tablet is obvious from its name. Besides, being the latest in the line, the device will run on Android 4.4 KitKat. Besides, Magazine UX and Remote PC are the main new firmware features of Note Pro 12.2 that deserve mention.
The new tablet was revealed by the South Korean electronics manufacturer at Consumer Electronics Show (CES). It shall also feature Wi-Fi and 3G apart from LTE. There is no information about which other communication service providers will support the device when it is made available for the masses.
In the month of August, Samsung had already announced its new Android tablet specifically designed for children however details about the pricing and launch of Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids has now been made available by the company.
The tablet will go on sale from November 10th in the United States with a retail price of $ 229 and pre-orders for the device will start from November 1st. A kid friendly casing has been introduced for the device and also accompanies yellow and orange bumper case for protecting the gadget from bumps and knocks.
Similar to Galaxy Tab 3, the tablet will be available with a Seven inch display and resolution of 1024x600p. Apart from all these features, some other features of the gadget are 1GB RAM, Android Jelly Bean 3.1, microSD card slot, in-built storage of 8GB with an additional support for 32GB.
Apart from that, dual core processor will accompany the device along with rear and front facing cameras. The front camera will be of 1.3MP whereas the rear camera will be of 3MP. Different parental control will be available so that parents can keep a watch on the content used by their kids. An app store from the company featuring child friendly applications will be available with the device.
Telecommunications major Sprint announced recently that on 11th of October they are planning to launch Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 for a special price of $50 under a 2-year contract.
At first, the tab will be available only in white but the company promised that a black model will be hitting the shelves before the holidays.
The tablet features Android 4.2 OS, a dual-core 1.7Ghz Qualcomm processor, 1.5GB of RAM and a 7-inch display capable of delivering 1024×600 of resolution. This cellular-capable slate support Sprint’s LTE network, along with 3G/ 4G hotspot support for 10 Wi-Fi devices.
Apart from that, the tablet packs in 16GB of internal storage space, 4000mAh battery, microSD card slot, a front-facing 1.3 megapixel shooter and a rear 3-megapixel camera.
Sprint currently sells only one Android- based tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 on its virtual shelves but right now, the model is listed “Out of Stock”. So, it is good to see that Now Network is adding another major tablet to its line-up.

South Korean electronics major Samsung unveiled its latest tablet, the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition recently at IFA 2013, Berlin, Germany.
The 2014 model packs in some great features including a Super Clear WQXGA LCD capable of displaying 2560×1600 of resolution, a 1.9GHz octa-core processor and a RAM of 3GB to boot with.
This tab’s pixel density is 4 times of its predecessor and will be providing the user with a premium viewing experience. Apart from that, it also features a magazine-styled user interface that will allow the users to organise their favourite materials in a user-friendly dashboard.
It doesn’t matter whether you are reading e-books and magazines or viewing videos, this 2014 edition will be delivering an astounding media consumption experience from the word ‘GO’. New design characteristics include a textured and warm back cover that will be inspiring a sense of sophistication and elegance.
Three connectivity options are available – Wi-Fi and LTE; Wi-Fi and 3G; and, Wi-Fi only. This latest version will be coming with storage capacities of 64GB, 32GB and 16GB with microSD slots. Price is yet to be confirmed by the company and one can expect the tablet to hit the market from Q3 onwards.
There are rumors doing the rounds about the release of Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Just after the release of Galaxy Note 2 there was news emerging related to Galaxy Note 3.
Galaxy Note 3 will be boasting an Exynos Octa-Core Processor. Samsung will be considering the idea of having a different look for the Note 3 and provide an unbreakable display.
They might switch gears when it comes to quality and making a premium device that is different from the Galaxy S4. Though the news has not yet been confirmed by the company but these rumors have been there in the media for quite some time.
Samsung has even started building newly designed Mobile RAMs that are expected to be used in the Note 3.
The company has started the production of 20nm 4GB mobile DRAM. It is power efficient and has improved performance. These latest chips have the capacity to transfer at a rate of 2,133 Mbps for every pin.
Along with the improvement in performance the DRAM is also very thin and has a height of 0.8 millimeters. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to be released around August or September. There is no word on the pricing details yet.

The device has a 1.3 megapixel camera that is front facing. The tablet also has a 7 inch WSVGA screen, the resolution of which though doesn’t match that of Nexus and this facilitates in keeping the cost down.
There are two flavors in which the Samsung Tablet 3 is going to be launched next month. One is a Wi-Fi model while the other is a 3G version which is enabled to make calls. As for now, there are no discussions on the price of the device but you can surely place hands on this new tablet.
Galaxy S4 from Samsung Electronics is the latest flagship Smartphone yet to be released. But this could not stop the phone stay away from being rooted. The XDA Developers forum has provided files to root the Exynos 5 Octa Version device.
Samsung Galaxy S4 comes in two models. One is model GT-I9505 with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 processor for US and UK and the other model is GT-I9500 with Exynos 5 Octa processor for other international use. As of now the crafty developers could root only the Exynos 5 Octa model.
The XDA Developers Forum advices not to try rooting unless the user has required skills as it can brick or cause problems to the device if it is done carelessly.
Samsung Galaxy S4 is expected for sales from 26th April 2013. The Smartphone is presently available for pre-order in UK and few countries in Europe. According to news reports, AT & T will start accepting pre-orders for the device from 16th April 2013 at a price of $250. Some unofficial reports state that the unlocked Galaxy S4 is available for $579 approximately where the actual price should be much higher.
